Composed Upon Westminster Bridge Urdu Meaning and Hindi Meaning
Earth has not any thing to show more fair:
Zameen ke paas aur koi cheez nahi jo is se zyada khoobsurat/sundar dikhaye:
Dull would he be of soul who could pass by
A sight so touching in its majesty:
Bohat hi bay-hiss/udaaseen hota wo insaan jo is nazare/drshy se guzarta lekin is ka husn/sundarta mehsoos/anubhav nahi karta.
This City now doth, like a garment, wear
The beauty of the morning; silent, bare,
Ye sheher ab, aik kapray ki tarah, subha ki khoobsurti mein lapeta huwa hai; khamosh, aur khaali
Ships, towers, domes, theatres, and temples lie
Jahaaz, minaar, gumbad, theatres aur mandir lehtay hain
Open unto the fields, and to the sky;
Khule hue maidaano par aur aasman k niche;
All bright and glittering in the smokeless air.
Sab kuch roshan/chamakadaar aur chamak se bhara hai dhuwan saaf hawa mein.
Never did sun more beautifully steep
In his first splendour, valley, rock, or hill;
Kabhi bhi sooraj ne itni khoobsurat tareeqe se apni pehli roshni/prakaash mein wadiyon/ghaatiyon, pathron ya pahariyon par dala hoga.
Ne’er saw I, never felt, a calm so deep!
Maine kabhi itni gehri sukoon/shaanti ko na dekha aur na mehsoos/anubhav kiya!
The river glideth at his own sweet will:
Darya/Nadi apni marzi se pyar se behti hai:
Dear God! the very houses seem asleep;
Aey Khuda/Bagwan! Ghar tak soye hue lagte hain;
And all that mighty heart is lying still!
Aur wo bohot si dil ki dharkan ruki hui hai! yani/matlab Aur sheher ka sab kuch aik jagah thehra hua hai!
